Ah, but in a 400-year cycle, the number of *days* (146 097) is evenly divisible by 7, so in fact each 400-year cycle starts on the same day of the week and is equivalent to all others. Running it for 2800 years shouldn't do anything but quadruple the 400-year counts, without smoothing them out.
