For $50, I would arrange to display anyone's Ada literature on a table at the Marketplace they will be having for a day and a half. I have gotten some good response. So far, the following are definites: Mark Feldman is donating $50 to publicize GNAT, Conn's CDROM, and some of his papers; another Ada CDROM company will be displaying their CDROM; an Ada CASE and consulting company will be displaying their literature; and myself, with my government software directory. The following are maybes: one of the non-DoD Ada repositories; one hardware vendor with Ada compilers; maybe Sun with Ada (they might do their own booth); maybe Rational with whatever (they might do their own booth). So, there should be a decent showing of Ada stuff at this NASA show, which should attract over 500 people. Sadly, it will be the biggest display of Ada stuff in the New England area outside a Mandated meeting in the last five years. So for those who do participate, there should be some good interest from the attendees. Also, it is disappointing that none of the Ada9X participant companies or STARS companies are participating or donating, given the meager amounts required. I have no idea what it will take to get these people to show some interest in voluntarily promoting and fostering Ada use, to tell the general public what they tell the DoD. Maybe I should donate some whips to the DoD. -- ************************************************************************** Greg Aharonian Source Translation & Optimization P.O.
