How does that "therefore" follow from the premises? My son is derived from an Engelson and a Rosen, but that hardly means that all Engelsons are Rosens! In my example, having a class which derives from ColorableAdapter and ResizableAdapter does not say anything at all about a general relationship between the two, only that there exists something which is both. One of us is really confused, and I don't think it's me.
