In all my discussions with Bertrand, I have found him to be the most courteous person on all of Usenet, even when I have been critical of what he has said. I must say, he has earned my respect. And no matter where his ideas came from, he was the only one clever enough to popularise them, and his book on OO contruction is a classic, even though I am not a particular Eiffel fan, prefering the Lisp languages myself.
