If you mean:

   Pixel renames Screen.Buffer(i) in Pixel := Pixel + 1;

Or anything like that, then:

1. It is less concise than 'is'.

2. More importantly, renaming declarations do not have all the necessary
functionality and using renames for a different purpose, such as the above,
would be inconsistent.
