I'm sorry if I'm not up to your strict standard of language use - what I = wanted to point out is that Linux (kernel) has many maintainers but a=20 narrow choke point to release in the form of Mr. Torvalds (and/or his=20 team). That - for the time being - helps drive reliability. It does not imply=20 that that model will work for all endeavours, or that it can be copied=20 as is.
