By combining Controlled with other features, either Controlled breaks, or the other features break. Granted, the experience I have, has only been with a handful of versions of a single compiler, but because it seems to kill things in new and interesting ways in a variety of settings, I begin to wonder if the feature is just simply not reliable in its current design. We need something very much like Controlled, but perhaps it is possible to design something that is a little less restrictive and/or a little easier to make reliable?
