I'd have to verify it with one of my former associates (if any of them are still at P&W! :-) but I would doubt that after years of development and testing anyone would want to throw out all the code and start over and have to once again flight certify the control. I wouldn't know about all of the other avionics in the JSF. That would be a *lot* of systems. Are there any in particular you had in mind?
