I think this is the best solution. A quick glance at http://wiki.debian.org/DebianHosting reveals prices currently starting at 6 or 7 euros per month (plus VAT). Most offerings rely on Xen, but I would not recommend that for a small web site because one kernel per virtual machine is overkill in that case. Instead, OpenVZ and VirtualLinux are better alternatives because they share the kernel between all virtual machines (i.e. less memory, disk and CPU overhead). -- Ludovic Brenta.
