Yes. Why do not use Ada for making reliable sw for models? I don't know man= y people doing this in Ada, but I'm trying to encourage some friends and so= me students to do the same when they build robots and a/c models. But I hav= e to admit that sometimes it's difficult, due to the majority of available = library for Arduinos are written in C, and the C 8-bits AVR community is hu= ge, so many times I had to code some basic libs myself, instead of focusing= on the real application. People from AVR-Ada (and the own project) helps s= o much on this. But once I had to convert an Ada code to C (oh God, I agree= !), because I had a question, but it was easier to some C guys to understan= d the situation in C. > Anyway, if you need an altimeter instrument for the ground control system= , > let me know. I use to say he will be very benefit using Ada, and that he will not have m= uch difficult in learning it. So I send some tutorial links, some papers :-= ) The benefits are much bigger than the costs.
