Pretty much my experience, too. Sorry if I confused things. But indeed there seems to be evidence that the terminology is not different, in the word "Einheiten-Symbol" (Einheit = unit). (However, if you go to the good old market (to by vegetables and things) you will encounter all sorts of spellings of unit symbols and names. :-) Georg Bauhaus
