	 TO:      Anyone in the know
	 FROM:    Concerned Software "Engineer"
	 SUBJECT: Software "Engineer" Title

	 	I have recently heard that there are several states that
	 have laws which prohibit the use of the title Software
         "Engineer". It seems that these states do not consider us true
	 engineers. I was wondering, does anybody happen to have a list
	 of these states? It would be nice to know if I were breaking
	 the law. Could you imagine sitting in a jail cell with a man
	 6' 5" named Ben Dover and trying to explain to him the heinous
	 crime that you as a Software "Engineer" committed?!!!!!
