Message-ID: <9111041451.AA02199@ajpo.sei.cmu.edu> List-Id: In an article in Byte magazine, Nov 1991, pg 169 Doris Appleby writes, in part: Lisp once languished in research labs, but is now big business. Not least signififcant in its resurgence is the Department of Defense's interest in three official languages: Ada, Common Lisp, and the yet-to-be-developed prototyping language CPL- a high-level language for trying out experimental systems. My question is: What is CPL? Any pointers to papers, reports etc. would be appreciated. If Doris is correct I would expect that the SEI would be involved so maybe someone there is a good point of contact. Thanks in advance. sam harbaugh SAHARBAUGH@ROO.FIT.EDU Integrated Software, Inc. 1945 Palm Bay Road, #7 Palm Bay, Florida 32905 telephone (407) 984-1986 fax (407) 951-4291 -------------
