PostScript files for most of the proposed standards to come out of NUMWG and A-ENWG (SIGAda Numerics Working Group and Ada-Europe Numerics Working Group), along with accompanying rationales, are accessible by anonymous ftp in director y pub/ada/numwg-documents on Internet host info.mcs.anl.gov. The ones currently in place are: gef-proposal.ps GENERIC_ELEMENTARY_FUNCTIONS (approved by NRG and WG9) gef-rationale.ps " gpf-proposal.ps GENERIC_PRIMITIVE_FUNCTIONS (approved by NRG and WG9) gpf-rationale.ps " gcef-proposal.ps GENERIC_COMPLEX_ELEMENTARY_FUNCTIONS (still in NUMWG) gcef-rationale.ps " The proposal for packages of real and complex type declarations and basic operations (including vector and matrix types), which will be called gct-proposal.ps (for GENERIC_COMPLEX_TYPES, one of the packages covered), is no t yet in place and will not be for perhaps a few weeks, but its companion rationale, gct-rationale.ps, *is* there now. All these documents (and more) will be in a special issue of Ada Letters edited by Jon Squire of Westinghouse, planned for this fall. Ken Dritz Argonne National Laboratory
