I think this, my favorite, line from the Microsoft EULA just about says it all: Reservation of Rights. Microsoft reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in the EULA. Want to throw your software in the trash? You'll be hearing from Microsoft's lawyers... In fact, the EULA doesn't *explicitly* give you permission to uninstall their software.
