No, that's MUCH too strong. It is still the case that many uses of Ada simply avoid tasking completely. One case is safety critical programming which wants to avoid the complexities of tasking semantics. Another case is where the Ada programmer *prefers* to use the underlying thread capabilities of the system directly. There is nothing wrong with this. Furthermore, there primary advantages of Ada to most users do not stem from performance of rendez-vous, but rather many other features. Of course people might switch to other languages for many reasons but the "much" in your sentence above does not hold water.
