Anyone for whom this is a "huge wall" is very poorly educated about programming and programming languages -- yes I agree this applies to lots of people, but I must say I have no trouble introducing Ada notions to a large segment of graduate students. That's at least one step of data above a completely unsupported claim like the above. I am completely unconvinced by the MI claim ... again it seems quite unsubstantiated to me.
