Phil Kiviat (from Sage) called me with the above request. The Army has a COBOL prototype that uses dbII, and they are considering migrating the program to Ada. One of the "sticking points" is an interface to the dbII database product. Apparently, if the interface is already done (or in the process of being completed), or if the cost of developing one is not too high, then the move to Ada would be more likely. If you have any information on the above, please respond on the net to me, or contact Phil directly at 301-294-1181. My phone and FAX numbers are: 304-725-6542 and (FAX) 304-725-6543.
