Reference (a) specifies delivery request instructions for the Ada Language System / Navy (ALS/N) Common Ada Baseline (CAB). Reference (a) does not specify any restrictions on who may request the ALS/N CAB. This lack of restrictions was an oversight in the ALS/N CAB delivery instructions and is corrected by this letter. 2. The ALS/N CAB will only be sold and delivered without restriction to organizations within the United States. Any requests from outside the United States will be honored only if the foreign organization needs the ALS/N CAB to assist in the completion of a contract issued by the United States Government. The request should identify the United States Government contract number that allows the requestor to order the ALS/N CAB and must be channeled through that contract. 3. Any organization outside the United States that does not have a United States Government contract but still desires the use of the ALS/N CAB should direct these requests to: Dr. Robert L. Zalkan SofTech, Inc. 2000 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, Virginia, 22311-1794, USA SofTech has the commercial rights to the ALS/N CAB and will provide detailed delivery instructions upon request. 4. If there are any questions please contact Mr. William L. Wilder at (202) 692-8204. (signed) C.R.Goodling By direction ............................................................
