It includes a validated compiler for the VAX. I have been using a beta test version of this system for my senior level Software Engineering in Ada course this past semester. While not as mature a product as DEC Ada, it is a useable system, and the price is significantly less than DEC requires. For university use, the _basic package_ is all that is needed. There are a few quirks in the system which I would be willing to discuss with any professor desiring to use it. They relate to storage requirements and intermixing of GETs and PUTs. The actual text of the Navy announcement follows as a separate message. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edward E Cragg Bitnet: ECRAGG@GMUVAX Internet: ECRAGG@GMUVAX.GMU.EDU ------
