Architects are physically present at the construction site of buildings they designed. They choose materials, construction method, tools, and, quite often, even the workers who actually do the job. If you want to have a home built, and the architect never shows up at the construction site, does this give you confidence in the architect or the house? -- Ludovic Brenta.
