Of course, with a 6-month release cycle, there's always a new version
"coming soon".  It's not going to be 8.1 though, it's going to be 8.10
to indicate October 2008 (and 8.04 similarly indicates April 2008).

Given the above, the whole question boils down to whether you have
time to wait for another 4 months, and whether Ubuntu 8.10 will repair
the Ada package dependencies that are broken in 8.04.  There is no
guarantee to this.
