I don't know; ask the Ubuntu developers. They usually take packages from Debian unstable and freeze them a little while before their scheduled release, making bug fixes as they deem necessary. However, I plan my work according to Debian's release schedule, not Ubuntu's, so when Ubuntu releases it may contain packages that are really unstable. -- Ludovic Brenta.
