Do you associate a penguin with Linux? My impression from Linux/Tux marketing: I don't think the animal needs to have any real association with the programming language. A nice story is okay, but what seems to matter is to have a recognisable, cute, furry animal which Ada programmers can exhibit in their offices, give as a toy to their kids, etc. This also means that any random photo of an animal doesn't quite do it. It should be sketched in a unique, distinctive way - preferable one which can be turned in to a soft, furry 3D toy. Greetings, Jacob -- Atheism is a non-prophet organisation.
