TELL A FRIEND Using Ada (R): 1987 ACM SIGAda International Conference on the Ada Programming Language December 9 - 11, 1987, Sheraton Boston Hotel, Boston, Mass. USA The theme of the conference will be the techniques of using Ada for large systems. Papers will address the practical side of use and relate to working examples of the use of Ada as it differs from and provides advantages over other languages. * Costing and estimating with systems for which Ada is different * Design with Ada-oriented PDL * Configuration control and other life-cycle issues * Techniques for reusability and operational taxonomies for finding code * Unique Ada techniques for specific application areas * Secondary standards and interfaces (graphics, database, etc.) in use * Maintenance of Ada systems * Tools and environments that facilitate Ada project development * Techniques for building real-time systems in Ada Extended abstracts (5 pages maximum length) must be sent in 12 copies to W.
