The major theme will be on the accomplishments of Ada technology (as opposed to the "promises" of Ada technology). In addition to presentations on the application of Ada technology for military systems, there will an effort to include presentations on the use of Ada technology in non-DoD governmental applications, commercial applications, and foreign (i.e., non-U.S.) applications. We, on the executive committee, are looking for people who can make meaningful, fact-filled presentations on a number of topics related to Ada technology. We are primarily interested in those who can speak from actual experience. We would prefer people who can give balanced descriptions of their experiences. Some of the topic areas include: - Conceptual Framework of Design Methodologies - Object Oriented Development and PAMELA - SAIS and MASCOT - Formal Design Methodologies - Life-Cycle Maintenance Issues - Case Studies - Ada and Software Engineering Technologies from a Management Perspective - Managing the Transition to Ada - Human Resource Requirements for Ada Projects - Specifying Ada Systems and Responding to RFPs - Lessons Learned from Real Projects - Near Future Directions in Ada Technology If you or someone you know might be able to give a presentation on these and other Ada technology-related topics, please feel free to contact Ed Berard directly.
