The course consists of 18 hours of lectures, organized by subject into 27 videotapes. The authors of these videotapes are Dr. Jean Ichbiah, Mr. John Barnes, and Dr. Robert Firth -- key members of the Ada language design team. Several people have begun viewing these tapes (at the SEI and/or in the comforts of their home). A few of us, however, felt the need to view the tapes together in small groups and in a structured fashion (like a workshop). We are, therefore, soliciting the recommendations of anyone interested in attending this Ada videotape workshop. We have tentatively arranged to schedule the viewing of the tapes 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thur), 2-3 tapes per day, from 9:00 a.m. til approximately 10:30 a.m. (some days will run a few minutes later). The duration of the workshop would be 4 weeks and is expected to start next Tuesday, 0ct 14th. If you are interested in attending, please send mail to Vicky Mosley @vvwm by noon Friday, 0ct 10th, so that a schedule can be posted by the close of day. Pethia is supplying the popcorn! You'll have to BY0R (bring your own refreshments) !!!!
