Paul Hilfinger wrote a couple of papers, one in IEEE Trans. Soft. Engrg., one in AdaLetters, both 2-3 years ago, on the subject. There he showed how to cobble it up with (are you ready?) tasks. He does NOT advocate actually doing it like that, but the articles make fun reading. Sorry I can't give better citations...
