There are no scoping rules at run time, other than the "others" clause. And debugging on VAX ada with exceptions is a pain. No traceback. Are there any articles or PHD thesis or writing on bathroom walls that have been dedicated to the design of exception handling. would appreciatte. Thanks, Mike
