I have heard that DEC will announce, in 2-3 months, new cross compiler(s)
hosted on the VAX family and generating code for some non-DEC micro-processor
targets. Does anyone know more about this ? which targets ? are these joint
projects with other companies? ( If the rumor is true, and the compilers are
as good as DEC's VAX Ada compiler, this is sure to have a major impact on
the whole field.
