That is one problem with Emacs; there is a _lot_ to learn. I learned about iswitchb on some mailing list. For a while I ran an "Emacs wizard" contest in my weekly status meetings; whoever presented the coolest Emacs feature that week (especially if I had never seen it before) got to keep a little wizard statue for the week. Found a few good things that way. But it degenerated into trivia. One thing to keep in mind; if you find something annoying, you can bet some other Emacs user found it annoying, and provided a feature to fix it. Asking on one of the Emacs mailing lists is a good way to find out. -- -- Stephe
