I know someone who is quite content doing word processing on an old portable KayPro. It works great, for him. Why, we even know some people who are deliberately selecting Ada 83 as the programming language for their next project. In some cases this is because there are no suitable Ada 95 compilers for their required platform (e.g. 1750A) In other cases, they consider the more mature technology, absent the modernizations that characterize Ada 83, to be more reliable. I myself am considering purchasing a Model A Ford for my next car. It has a certain charm that seems to be lost in the glitzie bezier curves and sparkling hues of modern automobileiry. Richard Riehle
