I will be posting the results to the network by the middle of next week. ( There are still letters trickling in. ) There is one thing that has surprised me, however. While I have received a number of replies from locations in the industrial sector, very few of the replies have mentioned Fortran. I would guess this is caused either by a lack of response from the Olde Guard, or simply because not enough of the major industrial corporations are tied into the net. ( My plea was posted to a number of bboards. ) In any case, thanks to those who have already replied, and especially to ( no names ) at Columbia, Rutgers, and Liverpool for their extensive notes.
