SimAda is a compiler/interpreter for the subset of Ada 95 containing Pascal-like sequential constructs and most of the constructs for concurrent programming. While it is primarly intended for use in teaching concurrency, the source code can be used to help teach language implementation techniques (recursive descent parsing, stack machine). SimAda based on my earlier simulators, but developed from scratch for portability, maintainability and to extend the support of concurrency constructs. The software is written in Ada 95 and is portable except for the screen display package. You can download the software and the documentation (Yakov's thesis in RTF format) from the page: http://stwww.weizmann.ac.il/g-cs/benari/cp.htm or I can email it to you. I have several ideas for extending the package that would be appropriate for senior projects. If you are interested, please contact me.
