Just a quick note here, the i386 distribution should be functionally closely equivalent to the supported Ada Core Technologies release on GNU/Linux. The Sparc and PPC ports are more experimental, and have not yet been fully tested by Ada Core or anyone else. We have done a little bit of testing on the PPC version and it looked good, so one hopes that both these versions are in good shape. Our thanks to the Debian community, and Sam in particular, for making these ports available in convenient form for Debian, and in ensuring their inclusion in Potato (it is really nice to see Ada 95 as a standard part of the Debian release).
