The great preponderance of articles were biochemistry. But perhaps that was before your time. OTOH, the "100 years ago" items sound more like today's content. I wonder how many readers migrated to Science or Nature. Back (somewhat) on topic: is CACM no longer a reviewed publication? It was, once, IIRC.
