I am not sure what the thought is behind this, but for sure it is confused. gcc is a multi-language compiler. One of the languages is GNAT. GNAT is part of gcc, not separate from it. If you mean the GNU C compiler, then probably you are thinking that somehow GNAT generates input for this compiler.
