Well perhaps not end users, but in my opinion it is VERY useful to have such information, and the GNAT design for exception trace back (as currently implemented on Solaris, which is the first target for which we have provided this capability), allows you to specify whether you want symbolic tracebacks with file names and line numbers or not. If not, then you can use addr2line to convert the non-symbolic values to symbolic ones.
