The Rational study found had personnel information available and found that the more productive Ada code was *not* a result of the personnel used. The SUNY-Plattsburgh study used undergrad students in a particular course, so the only way you could make that claim would be to claim that students suddenly got smarter the year that Ada was introduced (and stayed that way). You could claim that C++ will indeed have no difference here because it is better than C. But is it better enough? Is it better in all the important places?
