I'd also like to point out the one common thread that *really* runs through all the major problem domains Ada is typically mentioned with (Defense, Aerospace, Air Traffic Control, NASA, public transit) is not killing things, but the prime importance of doing things right. These are all domains where you want the highest quality possible, because people have to entrust their lives (or large anounts of their money) on the flawless operation of the software systems.
