Yes , No doubt, a lot of people using GNAT would be very happy as it would save them a lot of time for doing their own programming instead of inventing their own garbage collection methods. LRM says: 27 Implementations are permitted, but not required, to provide garbage collection (see 13.11.3). Probably it is right time for that. Moreover, any Ada implementation targeted for Java code generation should probably have this facility.
