Well, I would suggest that we could (a) target Linux (and maybe other similar XWS+POSIX platforms?) to start off with, maybe shake it out a little, and then (b) port to MS (and others) after. Since (a) is going to take a little time anyway, we will be in a better position to see what's happening to MS once (a) is achieved.
