Which means that whatever happens there won't have a huge impact on the industry as a whole. Yes, it's certainly a good idea to try it anyway - any little bit helps. But, as soon as you run into some production requirements for a mostly software-oriented environment (like source-control for instance?) it's becoming quite a bit more difficult to do that.
