Your post was just about what you went through/are going through in learning different languages. The only reason I bothered to reply was for the benefit of those who may have read your post and arrived at uninformed conclusions about Ada. Incidentally, if you decide to get on the Java bandwagon, there have been Ada to Java-byte code compilers available for some time. These give you the benefit of programming in Ada while being able to use all the Java API's. Thanks -- Rakesh
