The focus of the Workshop will be on both the application of current metrics research to real-life problems, as well as ad- vances being made which will provide the foundation for software measurement in the future. AOWSM '93 will be held at the Silver Falls Conference Center. The Conference Center is a rustic facility designed for comfort and tranquillity in the natural setting of Silver Falls State Park's 8,700 acres. The Center is situated in a secluded meadow, sur- rounded by lush forests of Hemlock and Douglas Fir. Participants will share a semi-private room in one of the Center's lodges or cabins to help facilitate interaction between participants. We are looking forward to meeting you at the Silver Falls Conference Center on March 21-23 for what will certainly be the most exciting event of the year for software metric users and researchers.
