Everyone I've ever talked to about that project was horrified - sure its being done in Ada, but on IBM hardware with IBM management and IBM engineering. In the early days, I was told their coding standards even forbade private types , talk about the last thing you want to do on a large complex system. It sounds like this was a disaster before they ever got to code. Though you're right it doesnt help Ada. (What do you think Ted?) (just kidding ) Plan on taking the train for a few years after they introduce this thing. -- --------------------------------------------------- Alex Blakemore alex@cs.umd.edu NeXT mail accepted
