For the uninitiated, the Ada Rationale explains and justifies in some detail the design decisions that went into the 1979 version of the Ada language. I have read our library copy and it's interesting to see justifications therein for features which subsequently have been dropped from Ada. I'd like to know two things: (1) Is there a (hopefully machine-readable) version of this document lying about on some archive machine somewhere? (2) Does there exist an analogous document for the 1983 (current) version of Ada? Replies to me, I will summarize to the net. Thanks in advance, Charles J.
