The study is sponsored by GMU under the supervision of professor David Rine, School of Information Technology and Engineering. The purpose of this study is to evaluate state-of-the-practice of software reuse, and identify the structure of a software development framework for the reuse function. Responses are confidential and will be reviewed only by the researcher at GMU. If you are interested in participating, please send your Name, Mail Address, Phone, and Fax information to mailto:nnada@osfl.gmu.edu or visit the survey web site directly at http://www.gmu.edu/depts/survey/. The new SHARC Ada compiler will be based on Intermetric's AdaMagic technology. The primary component of AdaMagic is the Ada 95 "Front End" which inputs source, parses it, confirms syntactic and semantic correctness, performs language-dependent optimizations, and creates symbol tables and immediate representations for code generation. For the SHARC, Intermetrics is connecting the Front-End to the new code generator that ADI is using for its C and forthcoming C++ compilers. By using the same code generator, Intermetrics will ensure operation in a multilingual environment. For more information, visit the Intermetric home page: http://www.intermetrics.com. This support provides 48 hour response time to bug reports and immediate workaround or patches for high priority bugs. These licenses are being distributed to Department of Defense projects. There is a long list of potentially eligible development efforts and the AJPO is in the process of selecting the projects that will receive the support. For eligibility information, contact Mr. Gary Shupe at the AJPO at 1-800/232-4211, mailto:shupeg@ncr.disa.mil. SOURCE: Ada Core Technologies, Inc.
