Sure, but we are looking for a lot more functionality than that, including intelligent browsing, integration of the project facilility etc, and integrating that into an arbitrary editor is quite a bit of work. The GNAT Programming System will support two editors, the native GPS editor and EMACS, and support here means full support in this extended sense.
