Actually this is a bad description, and Nicolas, perhaps working with an old version of gnatmake is not correctly describing what happens. Gnatmake also has the capability of checking logical checksums of files, and the situation that Nicolas reports can be properly handled. This is certainly not a problem we have seen from any of our customers, and a quick test does not show a problem here. P.S. the logical checksum facility is what enables the smart recompilation ....
